Our native Charlestonian! Michelle started in the industry at St Johns Island Café in 1993 and before the F&B industry she worked at the Atlantic Clam Farms on James Island, where they grew their own algae, checked seedlings for bacteria and throughout the clams growing stages. Michelle will tell you she loves the daily challenges she faces daily and loves working with the team at D&D. She has worked with and for some of the most talented Chefs and business owners in this industry and loves learning new and creative menu items.
Michelle’s favorite on the D&D menu is the Mac & Cheese. In her down time Michelle enjoys spending time with her sons and grandchildren and teaching them how to cook and bake. Never to meet a stranger, Michelle will tell you she enjoys meeting new people because there is always something to learn from someone. She also enjoys giving back to her community, on Saturdays Michelle can be found preparing and packing food items to feed the hungry.
